This is a list of my (favorite) Top 10 Places at Magic Kingdom.
This is a completely subjective list of course. That is the whole point. These 10 places were chosen for the feeling I get when I am in the places; whether they are a recognized attraction or just a resting spot. I will elaborate why I chose each of the ten. I hope you will respond with some of your favorite places.
1)The Enchanted Forest by Gaston’s Tavern-
I chose this because of the many good memories I have had sitting outside of Gaston’s Tavern with a Lafou’s Brew. I think this spot is unparalleled in all of Walt Disney World for the peace it brings. It is beautiful with the Enchanted Forest as a backdrop and the fountain and shops. This is the prettiest at night when everything is lit up.
Winnie-the-Pooh is my favorite Disney character so just being in this area makes me happy. The queue is fun and the ride always puts a smile on my face.
3)Peter Pan ride–
This ride is so much fun and now the queue is fantastic. Who doesn’t love flying over London?
4)Seven Dwarfs Mine Train-
The quality of this ride is off the charts for me. The queue is great, the thrill quotient of the ride is just right, and the slow part riding through the mine is like entering the movie. To add to the whole experience, the little cottage coming off the ride is so realistic looking, you again feel like you are looking at the real cottage that the dwarfs live in.
5)It’s a Small World–
This is an iconic ride and always relaxing for me. Even though I have ridden it over a hundred times I never get tired of it.
6)People Mover in Tomorrowland-
This is always relaxing whirling around Tomorrowland. I like the view of Tomorrowland and the rest this attraction provides. A bonus is the ability to almost always get on immediately.
7)Area by Tangled restrooms-
I love this seating area. It looks so pretty at night. This is another spot (like the area by the Enchanted Forest) that allows you to sit and relax while people watching. I have also watched Wishes many times in this area.
8)Main Street USA–
My two favorite parts of Main Street are the sitting area around Casey’s Corner and the side street adjacent to The Crystal Arts. Both areas are the most peaceful close to park closing and you are actually able to sit and relax. The area around Casey’s Corner is great to sit and view the changes in Cinderella’s Castle. The side street by The Crystal Arts has shops and flowers than makes one think of a little area in Europe.
9)Dumbo’s circus area–
This whole area is well themed, and again at least at night, fairly relaxing. I love the gift shop, Dumbo’s Flying Circus ride and the Goofy Barnstormer.
This is one of the best attractions in all of WDW. It is multi-sensorial and fun for all ages. It allows a brief rest and usually has a pretty short wait time.
This list of my Top 10 Places at Magic Kingdom was pretty easy to choose, though a few others could have made the list as well. What are your favorite places in Magic Kingdom?
