Welcome aboard The Disney Wonder!
Magical Disney Cruise Line Details
“There is no magic in magic, It’s all in the details.” – Walt Disney

Walt Disney Theater on the Disney Dream
The Disney Cruise Line ranks as the top cruise line for families year after year. Passengers are dazzled by original Broadway style musicals. Disney’s child and teen programs keep the kids entertained and allow parents time to relax. Disney service and hospitality remain top notch.
Disney Cruise Line thrills most passengers with these traditional offerings. The Disney fan will find more magic, though. Even if you are not big fan, the magical Disney details might just convert you.
Art and Decor

A beautiful fresco with Nemo
Disney designed its fleet in Art Deco and Art Nouveau style. You will find Disney details harmoniously worked in. Disney themed art hangs in the halls and stairwells.

Captain Mickey lobby statue
Each ship has a unique sculpture in the lobby. We enjoy touring the art on the ships.
Disney Music

Carl and Ellie
As you walk through Disney ships, classic tunes from Disney and Pixar movies play overhead. You loved these songs as a kid, and your kids love them now. From Michael Giachino’s “Married Life” ( the theme to Up!), one of my favorite songs ever, to “Bare Necessities” and from ” A Dream is Wish Your Heart Makes” to “Be Our Guest,” you are treated to the full catalog of classics.
On-Demand Disney and Pixar Movies

I love “The Jungle Book”
Speaking of a full catalog of classics, Disney cruise passengers enjoy free, On-Demand access to EVERY Disney and Pixar animated movie. While you may not spend a lot of time in your room, this Disney detail is still great!
Disney Themed Restaurants

Lumiere’s on the Disney Magic
Every Disney Cruise Line restaurant delivers a Disney themed experience. Some are completely obvious like Lumiere’s from Beauty and the Beast and Rapunzel’s Royal Table from Tangled.

A peak into Remy’s. Can you find the hidden Remy?
Others have much more subtle Disney details, like Remy’s with cleverly disguised homages to Ratatouille.
Disney Trivia

preparing for Disney trivia
Passengers can test their trivia knowledge on almost all cruise lines. In addition to general trivia, on the Disney Cruise Line, you can challenge yourself to Disney trivia: Disney Name That Tune, Disney movie trivia, general Disney trivia. It is all fun and you will face some true pros!
Character Meet and Greets

Meeting Peter Pan
At Disney Parks, people wait in long lines for meet and greets with Disney characters. Character meet and greets abound on Disney ships. While there are lines, you will not wait as long as at the parks.
Special Themed Days
Have you not heard “Let It Go!” enough, yet? Do you dream of being part of the Star Wars resistance? On some Disney cruises, you can enjoy Frozen or Tangled themed days with decorations, music, food, crafts, characters and other Disney details. On other cruises, Storm Troopers patrol the halls during Star Wars Day at Sea. You might run into Loki or Thor on a Marvel cruise.
The Horn Blast

The Stack on the Disney Wonder
Disney Cruise Ships play “When You Wish Upon a Star” as their horn blast. Just a little Disney detail that still brings a smile to my face.
Mickey Waffles

The Mickey Waffle breakfast meal
You know you love them! Our son eats them almost every day at Walt Disney World. We even have a Mickey waffle maker at home. Disney Cruise Line has them, too.
Ship Design

The Disney Wonder
Disney ships are designed to look like classic, Titanic style, cruise ships. Notice the colors, though: a black base, yellow life boats, white body, and red funnels on top. Yellow, red, black, and white, the colors of Mickey Mouse. Only Disney Cruise Line has yellow life boats. Attention is always paid to the details. In my opinion, Disney Cruise Line has the most attractive ships at sea.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Kids love to be turned into Princesses and Pirates at Disney parks at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques. They can receive the exact same treatment at sea.
Interactive Dining

Crush and other characters from “Finding Nemo” take with you just like Turtle Talke with Crush at Epcot
In addition to the restaurant theming, in certain restaurants, Disney takes it to whole new level. At Animator’s Palate, diners interact with Crush and Bruce from Finding Nemo. Disney scenes play out like live art in frames along the walls on different ships.

Rapunzel’s birthday party on the Disney Magic
In Rapunzel’s Royal Table on the Magic and Tiana’s Place on the Wonder, diners become part part of the story in interactive dinner shows. Fans of Tangled and The Princess and the Frog will go crazy for this. It is quite fun for all, though. These Disney details make dining a memorable experience for everyone.
Characters Wandering the Ship

Stitch, ready for Pirate Night
In addition to scheduled character meet and greets, sometimes you will just run into one of your favorite characters roaming the ship. These impromptu meetings will leave you smiling.

Disney cruises are for adults, too.
The Aft of the Ships
Disney misses no opportunity to add a little fun. Different Disney characters work painting the aft (rear) of each ship. In port, even cruisers from other ships stop to take photos of this Disney detail. I can’t wait to see who will be on Disney Cruise Lines three, new ships, coming over the next 5 years!
Is It Too Much?
No. No it isn’t.

Happy family photo.
Not for us at least. Cruising with Disney is like cruising on ship from the Golden Age of Cruising with pixie dust sprinkled about. From the decor, you almost expect to see Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet show up, whistling “It’s a Small World.” They won’t though, because Titanic was produced by a different studio.
If you like Disney, then you will love the Disney details. If you love Disney, then you will be addicted!
