Huge lemons are grown in this area. Beautiful Amalfi is known for a lemon liqueur, limoncello, that is made from the lemons. You can purchase this and other lemon products throughout the town.

Limoncello shop
We did not try the limoncello, but did try some gelato. The vendor self-proclaimed it as the world’s best gelato.

I was reminded of this scene from the movie Elf. The gelato was very tasty. So, for all I know, it is the best in the world. The town is small and easy to tour on foot.
